Velvet's rooftop on the 9th floor of T.K Building is a private event venue in Bole built for the kind of night people talk about later. Skyline views, a full bar program, a kitchen that runs from wood-fired Italian to Habesha classics, and a team that handles the evening so you don't have to.

Birthdays
From intimate dinner-table birthdays to full-room celebrations with a DJ. The rooftop is built for the moment when the lights drop and the cake comes out — and the view doesn't hurt.
Corporate dinners
Year-end dinners, partner appreciation evenings, leadership offsites. The indoor dining hall handles seated service for groups who need to actually hear each other, and the rooftop terrace works for cocktails and informal networking.
Engagement parties & pre-weddings
Skyline backdrop for the photos, a setting that looks finished without decoration overload, and a menu that crosses Habesha and international so every guest finds something they love.
Product launches & networking
Standing receptions on the rooftop terrace with bar service and passed plates. The bar program is set up for high-volume cocktail service when the room is moving.
Capacity & spaces
Velvet has three usable footprints for private events:
- Indoor dining hall — full seated service with skyline-facing windows. Best for plated dinners.
- Rooftop terrace — open-air, cocktail-format. Best for receptions, launches, and golden-hour parties.
- Full buyout — both spaces plus the lounge bar. Best for larger nights where guests should be able to move between formats.
